Xandria Quichocho

Xandria began playing cello at the of 10 in a fifth-grade strings program in San Antonio. Ever since then there hasn’t been a day where she hasn’t played, listened to, or talked about cello. Along with her school ensembles Xandria has performed with the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio and San Marcos’s community ensemble, the SMART Orchestra.

Although her first love is cello, Xandria’s educational focus is Physics. She is currently studying Physics at Texas State University and is participating in Physics Education Research. She has a passion for education and loves teaching science, music, and everything in between. One of her current projects is developing a workshop to train educators on how to use performance art to teach physics concepts.
