Brittnee Simone is a soprano from Houston, TX. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education-Choral from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Vocal Performance under the instruction of Debbie Berry at Stephen F. Austin State University. She made her opera debut in 2018 as Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. She has also performed in opera scenes as Cunegonde from Candide, Susanna from Le Nozze di Figaro, Carrie from Carousel, and more.
Brittnee’s goal is to be a collegiate voice teacher after she graduates in spring 2020. She has been gaining experience by teaching voice lessons for one semester to music minors and Sound Recording Technology majors as a part of her graduate assistant-ship. She has already renewed her contract to continue teaching for the remainder of her master’s degree.
