Viktor Kuru is from Chicago, where he began learning how to play the violin at age 5. He studied with teachers David Lisker and Michael Hining before studying at the Jacobs school of music with professors Kevork Mardirossian and Brenda Brenner. Viktor has been playing with various folk and classical ensembles in the Chicagoland area for the last 5 years. At the Jacobs school of music, Viktor is studying violin performance and music education, he teaches folk and classical music at all levels and has been doing so for the last 4 years. Aside from music, Viktor is interested in the automotive field and enjoys fixing cars for fun.
