Olesya Antonio

Olesya is a resident of San Diego, mother of three, born in Russia. Olesya is a laureate of several international Opera competitions In Spain, Italy and Bulgaria. She studied with the internationally renowned singer from the Mariinsky theatre Mr. Sergey Aleksashkin and graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 2002 . After graduation of
the Conservatory Olesya moved to Vienna , Austria, where she made her debut with Neue Oper Wien in Vienna, Austria, where she participated in the production of the Orpheus by Chech- Monteverdi. In 2008 Olesya moved to Lisbon, Portugal, where she continue her carrier as an opera soloist in The Theatre Nacional de Sao Carlos. In 2014 Olesya moved to San Diego , California.

Olesya’s voice lessons include: breathing, tone creations, diaphragm support, resonance, tone placement, performance and much more. Lessons are tailored to all levels of proficiency: beginner, intermediate and advanced vocalists. Lessons are given in English, Portuguese or Russian.

Olesya loves teaching singing lessons and making them fun for adults and children because singing is such an incredible way to express ourselves. It is such a pleasure to watch students develop their confidence as we work together to find their individual singing styles.
