Rachael Higgins

Rachael Higgins hails from Escondido, California, where she began playing flute at ten years old. She is a recent graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Music degree specializing in flute performance. Rachael has studied classical flute under Renee Tresko and Patricia Cloud among other professional musicians. Rachael has extensive knowledge about classical music, as she received First Class Honors titles in the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program Adjudications as a high school student. As a college student, she has participated in wind ensemble, chamber ensemble, orchestra, athletic band, and private lessons; as well as participating in the UC Irvine Medical Center’s Music to Heal Volunteer Program playing to patients in hospital rooms and lobbies. When she isn’t playing flute or performing, Rachael enjoys going for runs and spending time with her family.
