Ralph Sanders

Ralph Sanders recently relocated to Lewisville, from Houston, TX. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Percussion from West Texas A&M University. As a Choral Director for 16 years, Mr. Sanders has conducted many of his award-winning choirs in the US, France, England, and across Italy, where his chamber choir sang mass for the Pope John Paul II.

Mr. Sanders recently performed the role of Trunchbull in the broadway musical Matilda, with Playhouse 1960, Harry Bright in Mamma Mia with StageWorks Houston, Joseph Pulitzer in Newsies, and The Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. Ralph was the Music Director and played the role of the Wolf in Sondheim’s, Into the Woods, and was nominated for Best Musical Director and Best Supporting Actor by Best of Broadway World. Mr. Sanders made his professional singing debut as Marchallin’s Major-Domo in Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier, with Houston Grand Opera, where he sang many roles, including Snout in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Nathanael in Offenbach’s, Les Contes Hoffmann, and was featured in Wagner’s Lohengrin, and Parsifal, under the baton of Maestro Christoph Eschenbach, directed by world renown artist, Robert Wilson. Mr. Sanders has shared the stage with artists such as, Placido Domingo, Frank Langella, Rene Fleming, Giuseppe Giacomini, Denyce Graves, Karita Matilla, Vincenzo La Scola, and Eva Marton, to name a few.

As a Private Voice Instructor, Mr. Sanders has placed many students in such prestigious schools as, The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, NYU, Curtis Institute and various other colleges and universities!
