Joseph Henry

Dr. Henry has earned two doctorates in music performance. A DMA (doctor of musical arts) from the Manhattan School of Music in vocal accompanying, and a DMA in organ performance from the University of Minnesota. He has also been awarded degrees in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music (BM, MM). He has taught music courses at Union County College, in Cranford, New Jersey, Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. For the past six years he has served as assistant professor at Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana, where he taught piano, music theory, and ear training. Dr. Henry is a twenty-year veteran of the U. S. Army with three different military occupational specialties (piano player, chaplain assistant, and combat engineer). He is a returned Peace Corps volunteer (Romania 1998-2000)
