Nicole Daniels

Nicole Daniels is from Katy, Texas, where she began her love of singing, musical theatre, and songwriting. She moved to Dallas to pursue a degree in Vocal Performance at SMU, and she is proud to have graduated this past May. Currently, she performs under the name Nicole Maridan, singing roles in musical theatre productions as well as original music at open mics. Her most recent credit is Maria in A.D. Players’ production of West Side Story. Nicole began her vocal journey studying with Jana Ellsworth in her hometown for five years before studying under Dale Dietert at SMU. Nicole has been teaching for two years privately and through companies. Her teaching style utilizes vocal pedagogy to achieve the heathiest vocal technique unique to each individual. She strives to make singing fun and focus on the genres her students choose, from opera to musical theatre to jazz standards. Her goal is creating strong foundations in technique so
her students may sing their entire lives! Nicole doesn’t just love singing. She is self-taught in piano, guitar, and ukulele, and she also loves painting and reading fantasy novels. Nicole has begun to make Dallas her home post-graduation with her sister and her new dog Luna. She is excited for what the future holds!
