Carol Jarzyna

Carol is a teaching and performing musician in the Chicago area. She works as a contract musician and in her own trio. Currently a flute and piccolo player for the Victory Festival Orchestra, she has also performed this role for the orchestra of Stargate Music Productions and as a musician for the Salvation Army. With her trio, Carol has performed at the City Winery, the Chicago French Market, and numerous private venues. She has studied extensively with Sandra Rowland of the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra and has taken classes in various genres at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Carol has attended master classes with Jeanne Baxtresser and Jim Walker. In addition to offering private flute and piccolo lessons in her private studio, Carol is a substitute instructor at the People’s Music School in Chicago.
