Zipporah Robinson lives and was raised in the Chicagoland area. Her musical life began at a young age, with her primary instrument being her voice. Although primarily a vocalist, Zipporah also has studied piano and violin over a 30 year period. As a teenager she studied music at Curie High School, Merit School of Music and Sherwood Conservatory of Music and also received coaching during a Master Class from international violinist, Rachel Barton. As an adult, Zipporah continued her music studies at Sherwood, Northeastern Illinois University and Moraine Valley Community College. Zipporah Robinson has been a music educator for over a decade. Her teaching philosophy is to help students to be the best version of themselves as musicians, flaws and all. Zipporah freelances as a gig musician who sings and accompanies other musicians via piano. In her personal time, she enjoys the company of her violin, and she likes to study about learning and retention methods. Zipporah also speaks Spanish and Portuguese and is learning Italian.
