Jeremy Simmons is from Peoria, IL and started his interest in music at 13 years old by taking piano lessons. After graduating from Peoria High School, Jeremy moved to Atlanta, Georgia and attended Clark Atlanta University majoring in Vocal Performance. From there, Jeremy received his Master in Music in Vocal Performance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2016. Given his piano skills, he was able to start working for District of Columbia Public Schools as a music teacher teaching piano classes. He has continued to take vocal lessons, piano lessons, and currently is still a music teacher. He is looking forward to start teaching lessons, building his vocal studio, and helping his students shine in their best capacity. Jeremy is open to teaching any beginner to intermediate vocal students and all beginning vocal students. Jeremy wants to create a fun and laid back studio that teaches any genre of music that students prefer. His main genre is classical vocal/opera but is open to exploring all genres.
