Mariana Lahaniak is from Drohobych, Lviv district, Ukraine, where she began playing the piano at the age of 8. Currently, Mariana is 24 year old energetic and enthusiastic piano teacher at the St. Nicholas School of the Arts in Chicago. She actively prepares her students to perform on a big stage and participate in multiple music contests, such as Granquist music competition. Also Mariana works as an accompanist and crosses Illinois state together with flute, violin and cello players. Besides having Bachelor’s degree with honors in Music Art, she has graduated from Pedagogical University where she got a degree in Social Pedagogy and opportunity to work as a social worker. Today Mariana lives in Chicago, where continues to contribute to Western Music development.
