With every lesson, Kianna Cameron’s goal is to create a space where students are allowed to be as creative as they want to be. She sees the benefit of a student learning not just chords and scales, but also exploring their own creativity. Kianna has been helping beginners and intermediate students find their way on guitar for 6 years specializing in the genres of Rock, R&B, Jazz, and Gospel.
Originally from Ohio, Kianna began playing guitar in local rock bands, and later, in churches. She was mostly self-taught until she studied under jazz guitarist and composer Teddy Pantelas. Currently, Kianna is a performing artist and music producer residing in Chicago, IL. Most recently, she’s performed with Delta Rae, Jen Miller, ‘Woman Who Rock Nashville’ Award Show Band, and toured with Asia’s largest live music production company, El-Live Productions. In addition to showing students how to play guitar, Kianna likes to throw in lessons on performance, songwriting, and recording if the student is interested. She is currently earning her Bachelor’s in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design from the Berklee College of Music. Kianna loves Prince, Dad jokes, exploring the Windy City, and creating music for others.
