Ya-Chen (Jessy) Lee, cellist and pianist from Taiwan, is a current student in cello performance at University of North Texas. She started her piano lesson at age of seven and cello at age of nine. Jessy got her bachelor’s degree from National Taiwan Normal University and master’s degree from Northern Illinois University. Jessy is sub cellist at several orchestras and plays with Richardson Symphony Orchestra, Irving Symphony Orchestra, Plano Symphony Orchestra, San Angelo Symphony Orchestra. She also performed with the Monroe Symphony Orchestra and Texas Camerata. Besides cello, Jessy also plays piano for recitals and juries, and is now the accompanist of Children and Youth choirs at First United Methodist Church at Denton.
