Jorge Soto

Jorge has performed with Luciano Pavarotti, David Benoit, Smokey Robinson, Roberta Flack, Dennis Deyoung, Michael Buble, Johnny Mathis, Almond Brothers and Tony Bennett. As first violinist in the American Jazz Philharmonic of the Henry Mancini Institute in Los Angeles, Jorge has performed in the Hollywood Bowl with Diana Krall, Shirley Horn and at the Walt Disney concert hall with John Williams and Michael Buble.

His studio recordin experience includes the Capitol Records soundtrack for the film We Were the Mulvaneys and Kate and Leopold also has recorded with artist such as Betsy Pecanins album Tequila Azul y Batuta in Mexico City. Jorge has also recorded and contracted for the soundtrack of the KPBS series From Christ to Constantine music of Joseph Julian Gonzalez as well as Misa Azteca from the same composer. He has performed regularly with Wane Foster Entertainment and Mariachi Champana Nevin including performances featured on KPBS radio and Television. Jorge has served in the past as the principal violist for the Palomar symphon, Concertmaster of the San Diego State University Orchestra, concertmaster of the Riverside Community College (RCC) orchestra and principal second violinist of the University of California Riverside Orchestra.
