Timothy Hayes, originally from Durham, Connecticut, began classical violin training when he was three years old and picked up fiddle music at the age of six. In 2012 he moved to Nashville TN to attend Belmont University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Commercial Music Performance. He studied under Elisabeth Small, Billy Contreras, Tracy Silverman, Buddy Spicher, and Tammy Rogers King. In 2016 he went on tour full-time with country artist Sammy Kershaw, as well as performing with Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye. Timothy is currently playing with country artist Ian Munsick as well as arranging and recording strings for artists and bands in Nashville. He is passionate about incorporating music theory and improvisation, being proficient in a wide variety of genres, and pushing technical abilities.
