Carmen Dickinson

Carmen is from the East Bay Area. The daughter of a music graduate from UC Berkeley, learning music was not up for discussion. She spent most of her childhood learning the piano, violin, and viola. Her unique ability to play extremely well by ear made learning new instruments rather easy and she would often learn to play instruments just for fun. She also participated in local orchestras and competitions throughout her elementary and high school years.

Carmen received her bachelor’s degree in music composition in 2016 from West Coast Baptist College and went on to be a music teacher at a private school for three years. Carmen has the gift of being able to bond with children, which makes learning music enjoyable for her students of every age.  Her hobbies include photography and hiking and when she is not teaching she can usually be found outdoors doing one of those two activities.
