With over 15 years of music teaching experience, Joshua Roush is an accomplished musician, composer, and instructor who has been in the Austin area for nearly ten years. Joshua studied music education in college, performed in Carnegie Hall, sang in the National Cathedral, and was a recipient of the John Philip Sousa Award.
Joshua held the position of drum major, student choral conductor, and section leader of various instruments throughout high school and college.
When Joshua isn’t teaching, he is playing in one of his bands – Roc Holiday or Trick Shot. He also fills in with various bands around town. Joshua teaches voice, piano, guitar, trumpet, French Horn, and composing/songwriting and is incredibly passionate about helping his students succeed and meet their goals.
