David Saborio is a fellow Texan who resided in San Angelo, where he began playing and studying the art of guitar throughout his childhood and teenage years. After high school, he went on to solely focus more in depth with music theory, basic harmony and songwriting for a couple years with no further education. However not long afterwards, he moved to Boston and attended one of the most prestigious music schools in the country, Berklee College of Music. He double majored in Guitar Performance as well as Music Production & Engineering while studying under Scott Tarulli, Don Lappin, Joe Stump, Shaun Michaud, and David Gilmour. Aside from being on the Dean’s List for outstanding scholarly achievements, David also placed as a top finalist in Lee Ritenour’s Six String Theory Competition in 2018. Most recently, David was invited as a fill-in guitarist for SpyAir tribute band at Anime Boston in 2019. A whole year later, David moved back to Texas and currently resides in Dallas teaching, performing, and collaborating remotely with other artists from around the world. Whenever he’s not involved in music, he gets himself involved with voice acting mainly for infomercials, audiobooks, and even anime.
