Karina Magallon hails from Houston, Texas, where she began singing, playing piano, and performing in her formative years. Currently, Karina Magallon is a recent graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, TN where she studied music both contemporary and classical music styles. She is a professional artist, songwriter, and producer having previously been a contract writer for the company Songlorious and with other artists.
Her most notable performances include Nashville Music City Center, Opry Mills Nashville, Pane e Vino, Hasta La Pasta, and Hotel Zaza. She is also a Glenn Miller Scholarship Finalist and the Belmont Chorale Scholarship recipient. She has studied voice for over a decade and has been a part of several choirs, bands, and pop groups. She also has experience in acting and musical theatre as she has been a character performer for a couple of princess party groups. Before finishing college, she was also a cantor/section leader at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Nashville for 4 years. She has studied under various teachers including Jamie Wigginton, Demarco Diccico, Rebekah Alexander, and Julia Lakowski. In addition to teaching voice, Karina teaches piano both classical and contemporary. Karina is looking forward to growing her artistry within the music industry.
