Jessica McDannel

Jessica holds a Bachelors degree in Music from North Central College where she focused on vocal music and music education. Jessica has been a children’s theatre director with Afterschool Enrichment Solutions for the last four years where she has written, staged, and directed students in theatre productions. She enjoys bringing elements of her theatre into her vocal warm ups that enhance vocalization, posture, and confidence in the students. Jessica believes in harnessing a student’s inner voice through encouragement, practice, and a strong sense of musical expression.

Jessica currently teaches piano and voice lessons in the Chicago suburbs in studio and in student’s homes. As a classically trained vocalist with a lyric spinto soprano voice, Jessica has a special place in her heart for classical music. She also has roots in musical theatre and contemporary music. In her spare time, Jessica performs with the Naperville Chorus as well as volunteering for The NF Network and Mobile Mutts.  She is passionate about keeping music alive in our communities and believes that music has the power to heal, energize, and inspire any person touched by it.  Jessica is excited to help students explore the vast world of music.
