Aaron Cornelio is from Janesville, Wisconsin, where he began his profession in the viola and guitar. Currently, Aaron is pursuing his Master’s in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In his Undergraduate years, Aaron earned a degree in Viola Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He has performed with symphonies such as the Beloit-Janesville Symphony, Oshkosh Symphony, and Sheboygan Symphony orchestras. In addition to teaching viola, Aaron teaches violin, acoustic, and electric guitar. Aaron has taught private lessons to students of all ages and is aspiring to influence future generations in music. He believes students should have agency and ownership in their learning, with a focus on creativity along with technique. Aaron enjoys living in Urbana, Illinois with his wife Analiese, who is a violinist and music educator.
