Aaron Leibowitz

Aaron is an accomplished professional saxophonist and flautist with a BA in Ethnomusicology and Jazz Studies from UCLA. He is currently a member of Grammy nominated electronic group Zhu that has toured the world, headlining festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo. As a recording artist, he has collaborated with Jason Mraz, Tame Impala, Zhu, Trombone Shorty, and others.
Aaron is a passionate educator with experience leading middle school jazz band and teaching private instruction for all ages. Lessons are intended to build music foundations while most importantly exploring topics and concepts that inspires.
He enjoys a variety of styles of music from jazz to hip-hop and pop, and loves to talk about records and improvisation. If Aaron is not playing saxophone or flute, he is producing music in his studio or surfing out at Malibu.
