Originally from Flagstaff Arizona, Bailey Cunningham graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2016 with a degree in composition (summa cum laude). His principal instrument is piano. Bailey has transcribed music for Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn, and has worked on multiple Off-Broadway productions, including ‘Van Gogh’s Ear‘ (2017) and ‘Tchaikovsky: None But The Lonely Heart‘ (2018). In 2018, Bailey moved from New York to New Jersey to work full-time at Appel Farm Arts & Music Center as a musical theatre director, teacher, and pianist. Bailey has over five years’ experience teaching piano to all ages and skill levels. He is experienced in all styles of music, including classical, musical theatre (Broadway), jazz, classic rock, and contemporary (pop). Bailey’s philosophy is that students should play the music that makes them happy, and he loves helping students learn music that they are excited to learn! Bailey lives with his partner and their 3 cats – Lou, Bea, and Wendy.
