Chris Calabrese

Chris Calabrese has recently moved to Phoenix, AZ from his hometown of Rochester, NY where he earned an associates degree in saxophone performance from Onondaga Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Jazz from the Nazareth School of Music. Chis is an active performer in both the NY and Arizona music scenes. Most recently, Chris was a first call woodwind doubler for several shows including Chicago, Wizard of OZ and Anything Goes. Chris also had played for and recorded for Reggae/Jam band Baker Street as well as his own ensemble the Calabrese Quintet. Chris has also had the pleasure of studying with great mentors such as Dave Rivelo, Brad Batz and Dr. Marcy Bacon. Chris currently teaches music in the Glendale Elementary School District and provides woodwinds and piano lessons in his private studio.
