Devin Hernandez is a string player in Widefield, Colorado. She started playing viola at age 10, and was a member of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association for her four years of high school, during which she was also a part of the Colorado Ambassadors of Music program. Currently, she is teaching privately throughout Colorado Springs and Falcon, playing with the Colorado State University – Pueblo Alumni Orchestra, and exploring Ableton in The Aspen Valley Campus Rockestra Program. She studied with The Veronika String Quartet, and she has done a masterclass with Lawrence Leighton Smith. In addition to viola, Devin also teaches violin, and plays cello and double bass in her free time. She has a BS in Music Education from Colorado State University – Pueblo, and enjoys teaching students of all different ages and backgrounds. Devin lives in Widefield, CO with her husband Anthony and cat, Bella, and she has dreams of rescuing older animals from shelter life.
