Lara has been playing the violin since the age of three and a half. As a teenager, she performed at renowned venues in orchestras and chamber music groups, including the Royal Festival Hall in London, England and the Ocean Club Hotel in the Bahamas. She took up her secondary instruments of piano and vocals by aged eleven. She has taught in three different music school settings, including in home lessons and has a fantastic rapport with children and teenagers. She enjoys seeing her students flourish and has prepared children for ABRSM Examinations and recitals in violin, piano and voice. Both the classical music genres and pop are in her realm of expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in performance, history and composition from the University of Southampton in England.
