Megan Fraser began her musical journey in Chandler, AZ, beginning violin at age nine with inspiration from her grandmother. While in high school, Fraser played in many orchestras including Chandler Symphony Orchestra, East Valley Youth Symphony, Regionals Orchestra, and founded the Perry High School String Quartet. Her love for music led her to pursue a double major at Northern Arizona University in Music Performance and Music Education, with a certificate in Suzuki Pedagogy. She has played with the NAU Symphony and Chamber Orchestras as well as the Flagstaff Symphony. She was a finalist in NAU’s 2019 concerto competition and the winner of White Mountain Symphony’s 2018 concerto competition. Fraser graduated from NAU Cum Laude in December 2019 and was selected as the outstanding graduating senior for NAU’s School of Music. Megan loves to play gigs around the valley and play with Chandler Symphony Orchestra.
