Pierre Appata was born in beautiful Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where his music education via private instruction began. Currently, Pierre serves as a Church musician (vocalist, guitarist, and pianist), and assists with music artist development projects. Some of Pierre’s music influences would include The Maranatha Singers, Mercy Me, and Chris Tomlin. Pierre graduated from Lone Star College with an Associates of Arts degree, and from The University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor of Science degree, in Psychology. He currently has over 12 years of teaching experience, and has taught students ranging from elementary through graduate school levels. He also has experience in providing effective and quality instruction and guidance to students with special needs. Pierre relishes helping students to overcome shyness/timidity, to discover steadfast confidence, and to reach their full potential.
