Stephanie Lacayo

Stephanie was born and raised in Florida and is of Puerto Rican descent. She studied music in Texas where she obtained her degree in music. During her studies, Stephanie participated in several competitions for Opera and Violin – proceeding on as a finalist several times in NATS as well as Solo and Ensemble. She has performing experience in full production operas and is actively involved in the classical music realm.
While in Texas, Stephanie taught Special Education, GT, Fourth Grade Bilingual Math and Science, Acting, Improvisation and, of course, private music lessons. Her teaching career has given her the ability to truly focus and adapt to an individual student’s needs, growth, and goals. She has worked with a variety of students – aging from 4 up to 32!
In her spare time, you can find her working towards her Masters in Music, tutoring math, having fun at karaoke nights, rehearsing and performing with Opera Colorado, or playing video games. Stephanie resides in the Downtown Denver area with her two beautiful pups, Coco and Sirena, whom she affectionately calls, “the girls.” The trio can be found exploring the city on weekdays or meandering those beautiful Colorado trails on sunny summer weekends.
