Tajudeen Ohiri

Tajudeen Ohiri is a euphonium player based in Houston Texas. He graduated from Prairie View University where he was in jazz band on saxophone and was principal euphonium and section leader in both concert band and marching band respectably. Mr. Ohiri has performed with the Black Eyed Peas Usher and Lil John, also perform frequently with the Houston Rockets Sonic Boom Band and the Gulf Coast Concert Band. After graduation he immediately started working at Scarborough High School as an assistant director in Houston Independent School District. While there he worked with percussion primarily but arranged various songs for multiple ensembles. After leaving his assistantship he found a program of his own although young had plenty of potential at the fairly new established International Leadership of Texas Katy West-Park High School in Richmond Texas. He still maintains his position as the band, orchestra, choir, and guitar teacher.
